I think I might have to have “The Talk” with my youngest chickie Naughty. Every time Summer or Jackie, and now Heather go into the nest box to lay an egg, Naughty follows them and watches them from the doorway. She coos, and softly clucks in what sounds like a question. She seems very curious as to what is going on. I could be completely wrong, she might just be a very supportive chicken and is cheering them on, but I find it so funny that she is always with them when they are laying. It’s obvious I need to develop a chicken translating formula to go with the cat translating formula that I had created a few weeks ago.
