THE TREE IS UP!!! I am a good person (heavy breathing) and people like me (more heavy breathing). Alright, it was hubby who put it up last night, but I did a lot of directing and pointing. We have a fake tree, so it wasn’t even heavy, but it still wore me out. I think my issue is that I know how much work it is going to be to put up those ornaments. I don’t let my baby bassets decorate the tree yet because I am such a control freak about where the ornaments go. Birds on top, larger balls towards the bottom and no empty spaces. The colors must be distributed evenly. I gave the baby bassets their own little trees for their bedrooms, and based on how they decorate theirs, it will be a while before they can even touch my tree. When their trees stop falling over from the weight of all the ornaments being on one side, that’s when we can talk.
