I attacked a few people yesterday. I am not proud of this. I warned them it would happen if they put me in charge of the school PTO table at the open house. I get so nervous when I have to talk to people that I don’t know. I had no idea I would be asked to do that last night, so I wasn’t mentally prepared. I was there to to see my kid’s school work and maybe grab a hotdog. Next thing I know I am at the PTO table promoting our work and trying to recruit new members. The first person to approach the table got the full brunt of my awkwardness. I am pretty sure I was talking a mile a minute and giving them way more information than they needed. Poor thing stood there listening to everything I had to say, smiling and nodding politely. I was sure I was going to pass out from lack of oxygen since I don’t think I took even one breath the whole time. As the night wore on I calmed down, but not by much. I am pretty sure everyone I talked to now knows everything about our PTO and more information than they  ever wanted about my opinion on Marvel Comics and small dogs.
