Frank the slug is back in my garage. I saw him yesterday as I was getting some granola bars for my baby basset’s lunch. Actually, I know it’s not the same Frank we knew a few years back. Most likely this is Frank the 3rd or 4th. He is much smaller and doesn’t seems to have the same swagger the original Frank did. I’m sure he is a great slug though, if he is anything like his predecessors. I felt compelled to tell him that I no longer keep dog food in the garage because we are working on a rat problem. I stopped myself though because it felt a little presumptuous to think he was only here for the free dog food. I gotta remember this isn’t the same Frank I knew back then. We don’t have the same relationship that first Frank and I had. I miss the first Frank. He was crazy. I remember walking in on him one morning and found that he had eaten his way through a Candyland board game board. Oh crazy Frank! I miss you!
