Author Carl Haupt and his wife, Sarah, started helping struggling families in Agua Prieta, Mexico, across from Douglas, Arizona, in 1992. They brought food and other necessities, helped build over 100 homes, and delivered 25 donated mobile homes to needy families in the area. Today, Angels on the Border continues the work started by Carl and Sarah over twenty-five years ago.
