I think the worst thing I did today was look at the news online. It is completely overwhelming. Earlier this week I thought it would be a good idea to get out of my garden and get away from the bees for a few days, just to relax and not be thinking about what my bees are doing or wondering why my seeds aren’t germinating. Nope, I thought getting out into the real world would be better. NOPE. If you need me I will be sitting inside my beehive.

A Rabbit’s Tale an Easter Story (Praying Mantis Series Book 1)
by Diogenes Ruiz

A RABBIT’S TALE–AN EASTER STORY, by Diogenes Ruiz, opens with a scene where Monty, the new boy on Juan Arias’ block deposits a mouthful of spit in the Arias family’s mailbox. The two neighbor boys couldn’t be more different. Although they both were in the 5th grade, Juan tries his best to ignore Monty because he secretly thinks the new kid is slightly crazy. Or possibly from another planet. Juan wants nothing to do with him. Twenty-five years later, Monty is working at his father’s business and tries to poison his father so he can gain full control of the company. The company where Juan works is involved in a project with Monty’s company, etc. It is impossible to say too much about this excellent novel in a limited amount of words other than it is well written and well worth reading. The comedy is great and the characters are well-defined… I do highly recommend this book. – Judge, 26th Annual Writer’s Digest Self-Published Book Awards

Summers’ Love – A Cute and Funny Cinderella Love Story
by Stu Summers
(84 Reviews)
Genre: Literature & Fiction | Literary Fiction | Humor & Satire | Sea Adventures
FREE for a limited time
Best-selling romance author Stu Summers expects fawning praise and flirtatious smiles from his female fans, but when his editor at New York’s Little Brown Pelican informs Stu that his latest manuscript is a poor imitation of a Nicholas Sparks novel, Stu’s carefully crafted career begins to unravel. Stu has one week to deliver a complete rewrite of Lap Dog Love that meets his editor’s demanding standards.
And he would… if he could… but Stu can’t write — at least not romance novels.
For years Stu has paid a “Holy Ghost writer” on the Outer Banks of North Carolina to craft his manuscripts, but now Hattie May Hall has lost that loving feeling and feels God calling her to write paranormal Amish thrillers with an evangelical message woven into “End Times” sci-fi. With a looming deadline and no hope of learning how to write a novel in two weeks, Stu finds himself falling for Kate Winston, a self-defense-products rep who sells pepper spray, assault alarms, and personal stun guns.
Kate instantly becomes Stu’s source of inspiration but is his sudden affection for her real or, like everything else about Stu,… fake?
As the clock ticks closer to midnight, an unlikely pair of hearts collide, providing a “shocking” climax to a love story that was never meant to be and yet… is.
Written for the General Market (G) (I): Contains little or no; sexual dialogue or situations, violence, or strong language.

Joan of Arc
No historical figure’s life story offers a more intriguing and insightful look at a specific moment in French, and European, history than that of Joan of Arc. Over the course of a biography that sadly lasts just nineteen years, Joan of Arc completely altered the course of the Hundred Year’s War. Acting on the counsel of divine voices, Joan left her small village behind, swapped her peasant dress for a suit of armor, and transformed herself into a revered military leader. From her first miracle, freeing the besieged city of Orléans, to her finest moment, leading King Charles VII to Reims for his coronation, the Maid of Orléans stunned the world with her courage, her goodness, and her faith.
Inside you will read about…
A Peasant Girl
The Voices in Joan’s Head
The Virgin and the Dauphin
Joan Joins the Battle
The Inevitable Fall
A Prisoner of War
The Savior of France Meets Her End at the Stake
And much more!
Ultimately, Joan of Arc was burned at the stake for her insistence that she received counsel from God but what she achieved as a result of this guidance is a truly incredible story.
