As many of you know, most of the plants in my garden were chosen because they attract bees, butterflies, and humming birds. When the sun comes out there are no less than ten butterflies flapping around, and you can hear a constant hum from the happy bees foraging. This is all great and dandy, right? Well yes, unless you are trying to make it spooky for Halloween. It’s hard for a garden to be spooky when there are happy butterflies all over the place. It looks less like a scary haunted yard, and more like a happy Disney scene. Fine. I will just have to settle for happy until the sun fades and the butterflies go to bed. Oh I suffer so! I will say that the butterfly on the skeleton’s face was a bit creepy. I wasn’t fast enough to take a picture, but believe me it was creepy.. ish.
