I just can’t decide if I want an Elf community in my yard or not. I think it would look pretty cool in the Winter time when the plants are all dormant and the flowerbeds look bare. BUT!!! Elves have a tendency to go too far in their shenanigans, and I really don’t know if I want to deal with that. Tough call.

— Now a USA TODAY Bestseller! —
Before that night, Addison Milan had been just a college dropout secretly raising her two young siblings in a beat-up minivan she’d bought with her first semester’s tuition refund–the only money her addict mother hadn’t taken off with when she’d abandoned them nearly two years ago.
Before that night, Caine Spencer had been just a rough, gruff cop sent to check out the phoned-in claims of suspected child neglect involving the same woman he’d met just months prior when she’d first served him the city’s worst diner coffee… which he’d been drinking daily ever since.
Before that night, Addison would never have thought the man she’d been fighting hard not to fall for–her only friend in her new shadow of a life–would be in a position to rip her family apart.
Before that night, Caine would never have believed any woman could make him fall head over heels, let alone make him feel so damn compelled to look the other way when it came to his job.
Then that one perfect night changed everything.

All Things Considered: A Ryn Davis Mystery (Ryn Davis Mystery Series Book 1)
by AB Plum
(49 Reviews)
Genre: Literature & Fiction

“Betrayal and love are close bedfellows, but make for poor sleep.” (ARC reviewer)
The police say Ryn Davis is guilty of murder.
Ryn claims she was asleep. Sound asleep. Dead-to-the-world asleep.
An insomniac with a long history of sleepwalking, night terrors, and other sleep disorders, Ryn’s dodging a life-changing decision. Should she leave her iconic rock-star lover? Are his fame and money worth his mood swings? After a particularly explosive argument, she goes to bed. He follows. The argument escalates. Exhausted, she goes to the guest bedroom. She pops a sleeping pill. One melatonin, she rationalizes, determined to think more clearly. Technically, a hormone. Not a drug.
She wakens the next morning, groggy and disoriented. Fragments of a dream fade in and out of memory. Not the argument with Stone… but something more disturbing. When she enters their bedroom, she sees him in bed — a red hibiscus blooming on his chest.
Unable to produce the melatonin bottle, Ryn acts more and more defensive and guilty. The police ridicule her testimony. Definitely bitter, can she prove how an insomniac slept through two bullets?

Henry Boxx wore the reputation of a mean scoundrel like a badge of honor when it came to getting what he wanted. One of those things was the land that ran along Turnback Creek belonging to the Holt family. The only way to get such a prize was to make sure they met with an untimely death.
Believing their small boy was away from home, he never bothered to tie up that one loose end. The day came when a lawman showed up, bent on taking back what was rightfully his, and bringing the man to justice who killed his parents.
