There are still a lot of Christmas lights up on the houses in my neighborhood. Normally I think it would bother me, but this year I am kinda enjoying the fun lights being up longer. Some Christmas displays are starting to look a little rough though. The overtime they are putting in is taking it’s toll on them. There is one house with a Nativity silhouette that started out the Christmas season looking like a beautiful scene of Mary and Joseph praying and over the newborn lord and savior. Very holy looking. However now Mary and Joseph are a bit worse for wear. The manger is flopped to the side with Mary tilted and Joseph flat on his butt. Baby Jesus is still lying in his crib, but now I kinda picture him crying a lot. Day one of his birth was beautiful, but being new parents isn’t easy, and it shows on them now. Either that or they had a rager barn party and it got way out of hand. Either way I gotta laugh every time I drive by. Oh Mary! Have you two though of sleep training???
