I don’t mean to stress everyone out, but did you guys know that next week is Thanksgiving? That bugger just snuck right up on me. I absolutely love the month of November. I get a little rest from the chaos of October which is filled with birthdays and Halloween, and far too many decorations. Don’t get me wrong. I love decorating for Halloween. I look forward to it all year, but I always go way overboard and exhaust myself. The first week of November is usually a time to take down all the decorations and recover. Thankfully the Thanksgiving decorations all fit in one tote and take no more than 15 minutes to put out. With the big bird day right around the corner, it means break time is over, time to put on my running shoes, and join the Christmas race. It’s a pretty race with twinkly lights, but a race none the less and comfy shoes are essential.

A knockout debut novel packed with twists, turns, and the lies that keep a family together.
Imagine going from upper class to no class in a heartbeat. A phone call. A note. And I’m talking about the cream of the crop: Luxury car? Gone. Careless shopping sprees? Gone. Dinners among the higher echelons of society? Gone. Just don’t let the neighbors see you wearing last year’s clothes.
And your loving husband, the father of your children? He promises it’s going to be alright, eventually – even if he’s the one who lost it all in the first place.
And your greedy boss doesn’t care as long as you’re bringing in million-dollar ideas.
Hell, even your lover thinks everything is perfect, tucked between satin sheets and wild arias over the speakers.
The question is, how far would you go to keep the life you always dreamed of? Betray your partner of twenty years? Sell out your boss? Murder?
But I’m getting ahead of myself. This is just the beginning, and there is a whole opera ahead of us.
And just like any opera singer knows – one false note can ruin your entire life.
