HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Is it time to eat yet? How bout now? Now? Erg. I absolutely love Thanksgiving. A day when everyone brings over their best dishes and we get to enjoy them all at once. It takes every ounce of self control not to completely fill up my plate. My eyes are always bigger than my stomach. I also have to remember that Thanksgiving dinner is a marathon, not a race and I need to pace myself. Unfortunately the fear of not getting my share kicks in and I get a bit grabby. In my defense, I have two teenage boys that have bottomless stomachs. NOT FAIR!

But trouble seemed to follow Colt around.
Maple was a dead end, out of the way town, the sort of town you might find at the end of the railroad. With a old sheriff and a deputy that was practically a boy, it was the sort of place that criminality would prosper. For the past three years the Cooper gang had the town its vice like grip.

The loner decided to stay a while, just to help even up the odds. It was what he did best.
